Therapy for Professionals

Ambitious professionals sometimes sacrifice their mental health, relationships, and wellbeing in service of their goals. Therapy can be an extremely effective tool in improving both your professional and personal functioning.

Learn to excel while being supported by your mental health, rather than being impeded by it.

Therapy for Burnout

Because burnout does not have a single cause it does not have a singular solution. To effectively overcome the loss of motivation and energy in your work, we will work to understand what is causing the dysfunction in the first place. We can then create the changes necessary to create more reliable wellness in your life. You don’t have to keep going from one burnout to the next.

Burnout is a warning sign, I can help you identify and remedy the underlying problem.

Therapy for Perfectionism & Imposter Syndrome

Perfectionism and Imposter syndrome often go hand in hand. The unrealistic expectations of perfectionism can leave us constantly feeling like a failure. In turn, we feel inferior when we compare ourselves with our peers. Ironically, very few perfectionists recognize they are, in fact, perfectionists. Despite their numerous achievements and successes, they don’t feel they do anything well enough to qualify as perfectionistic.

Perfectionism has many problematic consequences. Do you avoid taking risks that you might not perform well at? If so, you are likely missing out on opportunities and growth. Do you judge yourself harshly, even when others give you positive feedback? Doing so drains your confidence and motivation. Although you might think perfectionism has been the key to your success, it is likely holding you back.

I can help you to recognize and overcome perfectionism and replace it with a more realistic and helpful approach.

Therapy for Career Indecision

We can sometimes overlook the importance of career decisions on our overall wellbeing and satisfaction in life. The fact is that for many of us, our careers are central aspects of our identities and where we devote considerable energy. The notion that there is a division between work and life is erroneous. Work is a part of life, and it’s a big part. As such, indecision over how to navigate professional decisions can create anxiety that can bleed over into all aspects of life.

I treat careers as a deeply meaningful part of life, and can assist you in working through difficult professional dilemmas, professional relationships concerns, and other career concerns.
